This expanding mobile game studio, with several well-loved titles, is looking for a Senior Game Designer to shape the player experience through creative and engaging game design. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including artists, developers, and product managers, to bring captivating mobile games to life. You will be responsible for designing gameplay mechanics, level layouts, and progression systems that captivate and retain players.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop engaging gameplay mechanics and progression systems for mobile games.
- Iterate on game design elements to enhance gameplay and user engagement.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh ideas and innovative concepts.
- Implement and optimize in-game economies and monetization strategies.
- Collaborate with product managers and data analysts to analyze player feedback and game metrics, making data-driven design decisions.
Requirements:
- 5 years + experience as a game designer, with a focus on mobile games
- Deep understanding of game design principles, mechanics, and systems, with the ability to create engaging and balanced gameplay experiences
- Solid understanding of user experience (UX) design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
