    This mobile games studio puts game economies at the heart of its design philosophy. This is a specialist role within a company that actively invests in deep, long-term systems and treats economy design as a core discipline rather than a supporting function. You’ll work on live free-to-play titles where economy decisions directly shape player progression, engagement, and monetisation, with the opportunity to influence both existing games and future projects.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Design, balance, and evolve in-game economies, progression systems, and reward structures.
    • Model and forecast economy changes to support retention, engagement, and long-term LTV.
    • Work closely with Product, Live Ops, Analytics, and Game Design teams to align economy strategy.
    • Analyse player behaviour and economy data to identify imbalances, risks, and optimisation opportunities.

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an Economy Designer or specialist Game Designer within mobile F2P games.
    • Strong understanding of virtual economies, progression pacing, sinks/sources, and monetisation systems.
    • Data-literate approach with experience using KPIs, simulations, or A/B testing to validate decisions.
    • Experience working on live-service games with ongoing economy tuning.
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence product decisions through clear reasoning.
